Möbliertes WG-Zimmer in der Dalberg-WG (4er WG)
THE ROOM
The room, which is approximately 18 m2, is located right at the beginning of the hallway. A large window provides plenty of natural light. Please note: The room faces the front of the building, so you can hear traffic on the street. Except for the desk, the furniture remains as shown in the photos (wardrobe, display cabinet, desk chair, sofa bed, large bookshelf, floor lamp, ALEX dresser [Ikea]). The desk will be replaced with a different one (see Photo X). The room rate (400 €) is a flat rate that includes everything except internet and the GEZ fee (15 €).
LOCATION
Jungbusch borders directly on the Quadrate and is essentially still part of downtown Mannheim. From here, the Dalbergstraße tram stop (1 min), the Teufelsbrücke bus stop (5 min), the university (21 min), and supermarkets (4 min) are all within easy walking distance. Jungbusch is known for its many bars and lively nightlife. There are no pubs or bars on Dalbergstraße itself, so you don't notice the nightlife on the street or in the apartment at all. Both the connecting canal and the Neckar River are great for taking a stroll or simply winding down the evening with friends by the water as the sun sets. The Neckarwiese is also a great place to meet new people, as young people always gather there when the weather is nice. There are also plenty of bike paths for extended rides into the surrounding region, thanks to the flat terrain.
LIFE IN THE SHARED FLAT:
Your future roommates are Abhishek (26), Niklas (25), and Seif (24).
About us:
Abhishek loves to cook for everyone. Niklas enjoys music and vegetarian recipes. Seif enjoys music and discovering new recipes.
So far, we’ve mostly been getting together spontaneously in the kitchen in the evenings to chat or to cook and play games together. We plan to keep having our flat-share evenings with, for example, wraps, pizza, or (vegetarian) burgers. Occasionally, we also go out together in the evenings. Everyone is very considerate and easygoing.
OTHER:
In 2021, we redecorated and repainted the kitchen. In addition to a dining table and sofa, it is equipped with a microwave, toaster, refrigerator and freezer, and a hand mixer, among other things. There is plenty of dishware, pots, and pans, so we can’t think of anything that might be missing. The water heats up in seconds. A washing machine, dishwasher, and drying rack are also available. There is a covered area in the courtyard where bicycles can be stored safely. We’re lucky to have fast internet, which makes working from home a breeze.
To schedule a viewing (in person or if preferred online), feel free to message us here. We’d especially love to hear from you if you have previous experience living in a shared apartment.
If you’ve read this far, feel free to tell us about one of your highlights from this year! Just stop by and see the room for yourself. We look forward to meeting you!
