A former presbytery from the 16th century with an outbuilding and a swimming pool, nestled in France's Ille-et-Vilaine department.
The property lies in France's Ille-et-Vilaine department in the north-west of the country, in a calm, residential village with lush surroundings made up of woods, cultivated fields and hedge-lined meadows. It is just a few minutes from the medieval town of La Guerche-de-Bretagne, where you can find amenities for everyday needs. The former presbytery dates back to the 16th century. It has been remarkably well preserved. It lies in a village, just a stone's throw from the village hall square. The main house
The ground floor
An entrance hall with half-timbered walls connects to a 26m² dining room with exposed beams, a fireplace and old terracotta floor tiles and to a 33m² lounge with wooden panelling, exposed beams and a fireplace. Underfloor heating warms these spaces up. A 20m² kitchen looks into the dining room through a glazed portion in one of its walls. This kitchen is laid out around a large central island unit. The kitchen leads straight out into the courtyard, which is at the same level as it. A 16m² timber-framed extension adjoins the kitchen and serves as an office. This extension offers a panoramic view of the garden through its large picture windows. Back in the lounge and beyond some wooden panelling, you find a bright space with a floor area of around 40m², a billiard room and a large office. Lastly, there is a 33m² room that is currently used as a television lounge.
The first floor
