This edifice is situated in the upper part of a village on the banks of the River Seine, between Fontainebleau Forest and Sénart Forest, in the middle of more than 5,400 m² of tree-lined, almost entirely walled grounds. This striking house, locally known as an 'Affolante' and emblematic of holiday homes along the River Seine, boasts 375 m² of living space and a unique architectural style, dominated by an octagonal tower previously compared to the one at Gare de Lyon by the village's inhabitants. It was rebuilt at the turn of the 20th century by a Parisian businessman and art enthusiast. The belvedere and its ceiling height of 3.40 metres is a unique space.
