this old catalan masia from the 15th century was meticulously renovated in 2020 with great attention to detail and respect for tradition. it is situated in a magical location, nestled in a nature reserve that offers absolute tranquility and breathtaking views over the gavarres massif. just 20 minutes from both the historic center of girona and la bisbal d'emporda.
the foundation of the masia was laid in 1492, so the property exudes history. upon opening the antique wooden front door, the impressive catalan vaulted ceilings are the first thing you see, and you can immediately feel the positive energy that lingers here. by using materials such as polished concrete, natural stone, solid oak, and corten steel, the renovation has managed to preserve the old charm and soul of the house. for example, on the ground floor, near the main entrance, the original stone floor has been preserved, while the rest of the ground floor features polished concrete, creating a very beautiful contrast with the stone walls.
