A townhouse typical of the local architectural style, in Le Touquet-Paris-Plage, 100 metres from the beach.
This property is located in the Pas-de-Calais area in the renowned seaside resort of Le Touquet-Paris-Plage, also known as the pearl of the Côte d'Opale coastline. With its 1930s Anglo Norman style architecture that has shaped its identity, the town has retained a certain taste for the French way of life, with local produce markets, art galleries, Michelin-star restaurants, plush hotels and luxury boutiques. The property is situated near to the town-centre and its famous market, as well as 100 metres from a natural area boasting 12 kilometres of fine sandy beaches as well as chains of natural dunes, listed as French natural heritage and a Natura 2000 site. The Touquet Golf Resort is visible from the house, as are the riding school and tennis courts, while shops and services can be reached on foot. Lille is 2 hours away by car and Paris can be reached in 2 hours by train.
The house, which has another home adjoining on one side, was renovated in 2025 and can be found at the end of a quiet street in the town-centre. It stands out thanks to its sober facade and white cladded walls punctuated with geometrically shaped windows: a picture window on the ground floor and three windows on the first floor. It is typical of the architecture in Le Touquet, with an olive-green coloured openwork wooden balcony running along the main facade, seeming to echo the green colour of the picture window's frame along the length of the lower level.
The ground floorIt includes a central corridor which leads to a large hall, two bedrooms, a shower room, an office and a lavatory. The black and white floor tiling strikes a contrast with the wooden main staircase. Two of the rooms lead into a small, private courtyard used for storing wood, beach equipment and bicycles. The first floorIt can be reached via an Art Deco inspired wooden staircase with balustrades and is made up of an around 50-m² main room that is generously bathed in light, which is divided into two separate parts, the kitchen and lounge, following the layout of the white-painted beams on the ceiling. The light-coloured walls help to accentuate the interior architectural features. The fitted kitchen is equipped with cupboards around a central island unit and is bathed in light through windows that open onto the balcony on the south-facing facade. An approximately 8-m² rear patio completes this level. The second floorThe landing at the top of the main staircase leads to two bedrooms, which boast plenty of cupboard space, a bathroom and a lavatory. All the rooms on this level boast wood strip flooring as well as large skylights through which light pours in.
